Booking With VanMan

We regularly book out on busier days (typically Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays), so please contact us today to secure your preferred date, time and vehicle.

We contract our services by email, so emailing us with the details of your move is definitely the most efficient way to make a date enquiry, get a cost estimate or book a service.

What will it cost:

The cost of your move will be determined by 3 things — the load size, the access and your preparation:

  1. The load size — Please provide us with a list the larger items (beds, drawers, couches, large appliances etc.) and your best estimate on how many boxes, bags, pot plants and sundry items you have.  It is better to over estimate if you are unsure.
  2. The access — Please tell us if we will need to carry everything up or down stairs or a zig-zag.  If you have elevator access, will you have a lock-off key? Is there a quieter time of day?
  3. Your preparation — We’ll have tools to dismantle and reassemble beds and tables, but please let us know what we are coming to — we will otherwise expect you to be packed and “ready for loading”. If you would like more assistance please tell us. We can pack up your garage, your kitchen, or the whole house, but we do need to know what we are coming to.

We’ll need to know your full name and your phone number, your preferred date and time and the full address details for all locations.

Please give us complete and accurate information so that you can be confident with the cost estimate we provide.

What will it cost?

Your location, load size, property access and your level of preparation will all effect the cost of your move.

The more we know about your move and your moving day pressures the more confidently we can cost and manage your move. Use our online enquiry form to tell us about your move and how you would like us to assist.

If you’re moving your family home within Wellington, from Wellington to another centre or into storage, we’d like to visit you, discuss your needs and preferences and provide you with a considered cost estimate.
